Taster Sessions

We’d love for you to pop in a little early before your session kicks off! This way, you’ll have a chance to meet your friendly tutor and find a spot for your bags and coats. Don’t worry about bringing anything with you – everything you need will be ready and waiting, so you can simply kick back and enjoy the experience. Can’t wait to see you!
Adult Pottery Taster Session
Bookings will open to the public early Spring 2025.
Have a go at trying your hand at the beautiful art of ceramic making. The session is 2.5 hours long and is split into two parts. You will be experimenting with making a mug using the hand-building technique first, followed by a short break for coffee and cakes .The second half of the session will start with a short demonstration from your teacher and then you will dive in making little pots on the potter’s wheel. At the end of the session you can choose a maximum of 3 pieces you have made that will be collected at a later date, after they have been glazed and fired by us. Usually within 4 weeks time.

Ceramic Painting

Immerse yourself into a mindful creative experience. Painting your own ceramics is a delightful blend of creativity, relaxation, and functionality. It is a two hours session that anyone can enjoy, whether for artistic exploration, bonding with others, or simply having fun!
The pottery session/booking fee pays for the use of our studio, paints, glaze and firing. It does not include individual pottery items. You can purchase pottery items once you visit us and choose what you want to paint.
