We are thrilled to welcome you to our termly classes, designed to suit everyone from complete beginners to more experienced potters! Each course is led by a friendly and experienced tutor who’s here to share their knowledge with you. You'll find our class sizes are cozy, ensuring that you receive lots of individual attention to help you thrive. If you're an adult aged 16 or over, you're more than welcome to join us! Just a quick note for our younger learners aged 16 to 18: you’ll need to have a parent or guardian with you. We can't wait to see you there and embark on this exciting journey together!
Wheel Throwing for Beginners
3 hours sessions for 6 weeks
Our 6 weeks classes cater for beginners and go through different stages to achieve confidence in throwing independently. Each session lasts 3 hours. You will be working with two different clay bodies and learn turning and glazing techniques to complete your ceramic pieces.

Hand-building Ceramics
3 hours sessions for 6 weeks
You will be taught a variety of hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building and choose your own project to complete using the taught skills. There are templates, pictures and books on site to help you decide on your project. At the end of the course students will have a selection of ceramic pieces to take home.

Self-Led Pottery Time
3 hours sessions
Whether you want to improve your throwing skills or work on your own hand building project, this is the course for you. You can book time slots of 3 hour session. A member of the staff will always be on hand to support, if needed, with providing the materials, tools and expertise needed for your project.
